The Ames facility houses two programs that are part of the Arapahoe/Douglas Career and Technical School. The Teacher Cadet Program, as well as, the Health Science Technology program. The local Meals on Wheels program is also operating from Ames.  

“Housing the Meals on Wheels program is significant to us,” said Superintendent Scott Murphy. “We feel blessed that the district is able to partner with an organization that serves so many people in our community."

Ames also serves as a learning resource center for staff development and other training needs, along with meeting room space and a video production site.

There are no costs associated with the repurposing of Ames at this time, as no capital improvements must be made to accommodate its new tenants. For more information about the Ames Facility, call 303-347-3300.
